I really enjoyed the way she was posed. She's also in her element, modeling. I loved the lighting and they way the lighting was placed to contour her face. The look and how it was arranged is so simple, yet so powerful. I think that the background goes well with the portrait and her outfit and makes her stand out from the rest. If I were to walk by this magazine in a stack of many, it would definitely stand out to me. The writing and the color helps to frame her face and also help make it stand out. The way that the cover is laid out helps it pop. Kate is obviously the main aspect with all other small aspects surrounding her. It draws in my curiosity to have the smaller stories titles and subjects in white, contrasting with the description in red. Although you can't read the red writing too well, the white helps make you wonder to what they'd be about and want to buy the copy, and read it.
