2. The models eyes were enlarged and her nose was adjusted. They raised her shoulders, slimmed her stomach, and elongated her legs. They also made her feet smaller in width and elongated them while they also slimmed her thighs.
3. The models legs, arms, and stomach were signinficantly slimmed. Her skin tone was played with and little marks and blemishes all over her body were covered. She was also given much more hair then she originally had.
4. I do not believe it is exceptable to change someones appereance at all. If you have such low self asteem that you need to make sure every last detail looks perfect, you have a problem. If you have a blemish covered or something as small altered, its not as big of a deal but when you slim down your stomach, or legs, thats unreasonable. Every should be able to feel comfortable in their own skin and ads and companies like this aren't helping.
5. I beleive its ethically wrong to do this type of manipulation in any circumstance. People should be able to feel comfortable in every position they are put in without others thinking its not "perfect".
6. I think that small blemish changes are ok but when you go as far as sliming down arms, stomachs, legs, you've crossed the line.
7. I think fashion photography aims to make everything perfect no matter how much they hurt others. Photojournalism is set to capture whats really going on. The true aspects of the situation.
8. Each type of photography is set to show how real something is like I said in my above answer. Each type is put in a circumstance where things in this instance are either moraly rong, or right. In places where people think everything must be perfect, such as fashion photography, this type of manipulation takes place.
9. I think these videos were meant to show the power of photo manipulation. To also show how industries are so hungry for absolute perfection.
10. Guys don't usually care as much as girls do about how tall they are or how skinny. It shows that girls are the targets of perfection in industries like this. Girls tend to have a lower self asteem when it comes to things like apperance and what society might think of them.
